You can use Petal & Flo underwear instead of other menstrual products. If you have an extra heavy flow we suggest you test them out to find your own personal balance and routine of changing into a fresh pair. You know your body better than anyone else. You may even choose to use them as a backup to your tampons or cups.
How much liquid do they hold?
Our period undies can hold between 40mls - 60mls of liquid depending on which Petal & Flo undies you use.
On average each woman loses 60mls of blood during their period that's equivalent to 12 teaspoons.
Can I use Petal & Flo for bladder leakage & discharge?
Definitely! They are so comfy that you can wear them as your everyday undies as well as period undies.
Will there be a wet or damp feeling?
Not at all. The fabrics and absorbent layers quickly absorb your period blood and its odour away from the top layer so you stay dry and feel fresh and hygienic. The only time you may feel any dampness is when your Petal & Flo undies have absorbed as much as they can hold and it's time for you to change into a fresh pair.
How long should my Petal and Flo undies last?
If you follow our care instructions and don't use a fabric softener or a dryer, Petal & Flo lasts up to two years. Fabric softener and the heat from a dryer can ruin the membrane which keeps them leak-proof.
When can I tell its time to buy a new pair?
When you notice your period blood is leaking thru to the outside of your undies when this normally doesn't happen. This means the membrane that holds the liquid inside has worn out and it's time to buy a new pair.

If you have ordered a bundle package and ordered the wrong size for your fit, we can exchange any of the other unopened items for first-time customers.
